Mindful Yoga & Meditation is a place for a holistic practice of yoga and meditation with a focus on applying what you learn to your everyday life. The studio holds a variety of semi private classes and retreats to expand your practice whether you are a beginner or have prior experience. We offer smaller sized classes and private sessions to encourage connections and individualized support. Retreats are offered on a yearly basis to give you the time and space to return to yourself again. When you walk into the studio space you'll feel a deep sense of community and the comfort of home.
Heather McClelland opened Mindful Yoga & Meditation in January of 2018 with the help of her husband Kevin. The name was inspired by her own personal practice. When breaking down the literal meaning of vinyasa (a style Heather often practices and teaches) - to place in a special way - it reminds us to be mindful in every small movement the body makes as you move through postures. Each movement is taken with care and intent.
Hear what others have to say about us!
"Of any yoga studio I have been to in my life, Mindful Yoga stands out with more genuine love, light, and warmth. I have never felt so genuinely loved and part of a yoga community in all my years. Unconditional love, acceptance, respect, love and kindness, ethical practices, and wise instructors who are competent in yoga and live it in their own lives, not just at the yoga studio. Its a way of life not just a job."
