Private lessons are a great tool for beginners who may not feel comfortable enough to take a class yet or for those who have injuries and want a practice tailored for their body. In a private lesson there is the opportunity for a beginner student to learn the alignment in foundational postures and to make adjustments based on their body. One on one lessons are also a great opportunity to deepen your practice or get any questions answered that you wouldn't be able to ask in a class. Another great reason to take a private lesson is if you have any kind of injury. If you are suffering from an injury the instructor can take that into account and create a sequence of postures to avoid any further injuries.
A private lesson is a one on one session with the instructor, typically a session will be 60 minutes but can be extended if needed or requested by student. Prior to taking your first private lesson we will either meet with you or talk with you over the phone to discuss injuries if you have any, to see what your goals are for the lesson and to get an idea of where you are in your yoga practice. The lesson(s) are held at Mindful Yoga.
Mindful Yoga also offers private group lessons. This is a great option for a bachelorette party, weddings, birthdays or team building. You can get a group of friends together, co-workers, family or your significant other together to take a yoga class!
